Celebrating Washington: Historic Words for a Modern Struggle

“We have therefore to resolve to conquer or die: Our won Country’s Honor, all call upon us for vigorous and manly exertion, and if we now shamefully fail, we shall become infamous to the whole world. Let us therefore rely … Continue reading

Presidents’ Day

The Constitution is not flawed; the only flaws are in the corrupt and ambitious people in whom we placed our trust — and in ourselves for allowing them to bastardize the original words and meaning of the Constitution’s laws to carry favor with those who will keep them in power. This must end. Continue reading

Tyranny and the Monopoly of Arms

“…gun ownership by the immense majority serves to prevent crime. Criminals have second thoughts regarding killing and plundering peaceful individuals who may be armed. But they have no hesitations when they are confident that their victims are helpless. Since criminals will always have guns (no criminals would register their guns, and besides, zip guns are easy to make), it is necessary that potential victims be able to arm themselves to prevent crime. That the likes of Ralph Nader, Chuck Schumer, Joe Biden, et al., are really inherently better and wiser folk than are we all is what the citizenry is supposed to accept! Continue reading

Democrats Heart Socialism

Americans are used to and take for granted lives of material plenty, including but not limited to automobiles, comfortable housing, AC in the summer and heat in the winter, markets bursting with affordable food, pain-free dentistry, ample and affordable clothing, and frippery such a cable television, all enjoyed in safety behind the strongest military shield the world has ever seen. When these things become increasingly dear, or disappear from the scene altogether, many will have no idea how this sorry state of affairs came about. Those charmed by the socialist delusion and who are obsessed with redistributing wealth in a more “fair” way never seem to wonder where the wealth came from in the first place. Continue reading
